About Spring Lodge guest house

Spring Lodge Guest House has been lovingly restored over the years by Mike Himself. Being a builder by trade meant that Mike could spend all his spare time turning Spring Lodge into the beautiful building it is today. The building itself is a fine Victorian period residence dating back to an ere well before the "last of the summer wine". This bright and beautiful house is charmingly furnished in period, with quality furniture and decor. The decretive fanlight door is original as are all the internal doors. The polished floor in the dining room adds a further touch of the style and manner for which this house was intended. There are 4 guest rooms, two doubles, one twin and one single all with en-suit, except the single. There are also 3 Victorian bathrooms. The house is in an elevated position and overlooks neighbouring tennis courts and a bowling green. Add to all this Mikes fantastic breakfast, not to mention superb value for money and you can see why most of our guests return time after time. In fact we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment. Spring Lodge is also ideal for sight seeing and walking with ample parking for several cars.

Mike & Christine love animals & are quite happy for small well behaved dogs to stay with their owners, subject to prior arrangement. There are plenty of lovely walks nearby along with several tourist attractions. Please see the Local Information link for more details.
